Summary: Fiona gives the mother's study another look.

So the mother's ghost really was gone...
Fiona looked around the small study, shuddering as she remembered the prior night's events, for a few moments wondering just why it was she came here. She'd explored the new areas without much interest. She found herself caring less and less about finding an exit and instead ended up coming back to this place. Folding her hands over her stomach, the heiress looked off to either side of her...how did a ghost just disappear? Monsters she supposed could be...disposed off in the same way humans could be, but ghosts? How did you deal with a problem like that?
Briefly she considered the possibility that it hadn't been a ghost at all, but other things made her rethink that, sending chills down her spine.
Searching the shelves for a distraction, a book was picked at random and flipped through before Fiona decided it would serve her purpose. Grabbing a couple others, she sat at the desk with much hesitation, half expecting the ghost would suddenly decide it would come out to play after all. When that failed to happen, she gave another look around before bringing the topmost book off her small pile, pushing the rest away and opening it.
