Of course, given who was probably looming, getting out was probably a good idea, especially after what had happened the last night... A pale, rather fragile-looking hand fell on the other girl's shoulder. The voice, though, was oddly calming, given who spoke, and how she usually reacted to another being in the library. "Planning to stay a while~?"

Okay, maybe that was even creepier than her typical approach. "I can't say I've seen you here before~" She leaned forward a little, floating upwards slightly... which probably didn't help much with the fact that her appearance was already distantly ghostly.

Mio jumped a little as she felt a slender hand rest on her shoulder, drawing in a sharp breath as she looked over her shoulder to see what looked to be a young woman standing--floating?--behind her and asking her if she intended to stay. Mio shifted a little, inwardly struggling to come up with an appropriate response.

"O-oh...I was just..." She began, entirely unsure as to what to say. She unconsciously looked to the side, where Zetsu would have normally been, already finding herself silently wishing for guidance. She leaned away a little as she noticed the floating woman's leaning in closer, visibly uncomfortable with the current distance, or lack therefore of. "I was just...passing through..." She admitted, voice growing softer as she continued.

"Oh my~" Patchouli purred. "Is it, then, like you to just invade someone's home~? I live here, dear, and fortunately, I don't mind the company~" Of course she didn't. It would explain the pressure Mio surely felt behind her as Patchouli came closer, embracing her gently. "So, what is my lovely guest's name~?"

She was really just playing with her.

“I-I-no, I didn’t mean to…” Mio glanced off to the side, finding it difficult to find a proper response to the sudden question. It was a little strange to think of someone living in the library, but then, with the house being big as it was and the residents being as varied as they were...it probably only made sense that people would find places to stay other than bedrooms. The bedrooms themselves weren’t always safe, after all, they were just…more comfortable, she supposed, closer to how home had been.

She drew in a sharp breath as she felt someone coming up from behind her and embracing her, almost immediately making an attempt to pull away, surprised by the sudden motion. “My name is Mio…Mio Amakura…” She admitted, struggling to regain her composure. The girl didn’t seem to have any malicious intent, but all the same Mio wasn’t used to anyone other than Mayu-who she hadn’t seen in months-grabbing her so suddenly. It was unnerving.

"Oh~! Mio, hm~? Such a cute name..." She giggled a little. "My name is Patchouli... I'd love if you could stay a while, Mio... I'm always so lonely in here..." She smiled softly.

"What were you looking for~? Anything special~?"
