Summary: Falling out of the pan and into the proverbial fire. Kei arrives in the Dollsyhouse after a near death experience

He must have tripped on one of the Priestesses impaled on the floor in his haste to escape. That was the only possibility, so said the part of his mind that was still the non-fiction writer from months ago. But the miasma had been pressing on him from all around and the shock, disbelief, regret he felt for getting this all so, so wrong didn't quite want to take the reasonable explanation into account. As far as Kei was concerned, this was the end.
The thought about how he had left Mio on her own crossed his mind, the well-being of his own sister and the question of if he'll see Mafuyu and Yuu again on the other side.
What he didn't expect was the sudden change in the stone. He could have sworn that when he entered, the ground wasn't nearly this-
"... Ugh."
Pushing himself up, he looks around before raising a hand to rub his head. There was something wrong with this picture... Hadn't the doors to the Chamber of Thorns just shut? Why was he in this European style room?
When did everything just stop making sense?
Gathering his bearings again, Kei casts another look around before heading towards the door. If this was an extension of the Manor of Sleep, then chances were, the door was locked. It couldn't hurt to try though...
