Lorenzo, by contrast, had been coming back from the other house as night fell, making it halfway past the hallway before the sun set. He might have missed the transition entirely if it weren't for the painful tell-tale sounds of construction that had quite suddenly reappeared, along with a muffled scream. It seemed too far off to have come from the small library...the hallway, probably. The study at furthest. He proceeded through the small library quickly, confirming his suspicions that there was nothing dangerous in the library before proceeding into the hallway with considerably more caution, opening the door to see a familiar blood covered in blood being gaped at by a teenage girl around his own age a little ways down the hallway.

Finding that it was nothing that related to him, he nearly turned around and walked away right then, but instead he found himself exiting the library and towards the pair, hazel eyes locked on the girl. He stopped near them, quickly tugging a small, metal canister out from one of the pockets inside his cloak, popping the lid off and counting off the pills as he dropped them onto them. Easy enough to see what had happened--a stomach injury. Nothing that should be immediately fatal, though that didn't mean it didn't require immediate attention, especially with he way he was bleeding all over the place. Damn, what Lorenzo wouldn't have done for a pair of latex gloves.

"What happened?" He asked. If he was bothered by the situation, he was doing a good job of hiding it, but he obviously expected an answer. keeping his eyes on the girl. Aside from the hands and the presently bleeding Jonouchi, she was the only person in the room and so perhaps it was understandable that he was understandably suspicious of the girl. Not enough so to warrant action, but enough to where he had no intentions of taking his eyes off her anytime soon. While she might have been perfectly harmless, he didn't care to risk it.
