I think you may have posted this in "Rich Text" editing (which is the editor where clicking a button lets you make things bold and all that instead of dealing with raw html).
Also to link to an lj user name there is no dash between "lj" and "user" which might have messed the html up too.
I recommend copying all that you wrote here and deleting this post, then switching to non-rich text editing and reposting it.
Ah, fuck, sorry about that. I always get it mixed up, and didn't have time to check last night after I posted... I get parental control'd off the internet at midnight, and it took me a long time to type this up, haha. (Ugh, I need to get my own computer...)
No problem, I'm not into yelling at people over typos and such. I had some weird ones in the original version of this quiz. One misplaced slash or dash or anything and your whole page gets screwy!
What does "CTFL" stand for? The funniest thing I can say about that group is that some girl got all huffy with me for saying something about colonizing empty planets and equated colonization with colonialism somehow "groups/planets/whatever" haha. Very strange thing to get so upset about.
I'm rereading the Ender books because I just read the newest one out (Ender's Exile) that's an interquel between Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead. Ahhh so good. I hadn't read them since I was 18ish so it's good to go back and read. Especially nice escape from reading casebooks constantly for school.
Did you read the Bean side story? I really liked it.
"Click the fucking link," haha. If you're that upset, it might be worth finding out what you're upset about...
I've been craving the Ender books really bad lately, but I'm not sure why... The only ones I've been able to get my hands on are Ender's Game, Speaker, and Children of the Mind, though, and I remember really loving the Bean side ones. I was reading Ender's Game, though, and found myself really annoyed with Bean, in a way that I didn't remember being the first time, when I was younger, and I haven't made an effort to find them. Xenocide, on the other hand, I'm looking forward to rereading... It's the one where young Peter pops into existence, and I kind of...love him...more than anyone... Even though I know that's a bit strange.
Yeah I didn't like Bean from Ender's perspective, but loved him when I read the books from his perspective.
I remember young Valentine more than Peter...and real Valentine being irritated that that's how Ender sees her lol. I'm about to start Xenocide, just reread Speaker.
I think I did a much better job of mentally pronouncing all the Portuguese in Speaker this time around...I think.
Ender's Exile is really good too, get it when it goes to paperback. I was desperate to read it forever but refused to pay for the hardback...then I got the kindle app for my phone so I didn't have to pay the hardback price.
