I AM SO DONE WITH MY FUCKING FINALS.
Also, I'm kind of curious about FanLib, which is kind of like FF.net, but with corporate sponsorship. I'm kind of surprised that people haven't seen it/talked about it before, but I can see why it hasn't, since it probably hasn't really touched LJ fandom at all. It's kind of an interesting phenomena, trying to cash in on the YouTube craze, but I don't know if this particular tack will work.
I don't think a lot of the "older" (aka been in fandom longer) writers are really all that into the idea of corporate sponsorship, though obviously, the new ones don't know any better. I mean, it may be able to displace ff.net, though I like ff.net's interface way, way, way better, but I don't think that it will really change the way fandom works on livejournal.
