ok, so you already know the saga about the house, let me tell you about the rest of my day so far. I had to run home during my planning period/lunch to meet the guy who did my home inspection to see if he could do anything about the sewer rupture, he was an asshole and was offended that I would even suggest that he missed it on the inspection; he refused to even call his insurance company, I'm now glad I offended him. while I was there I got a notice in the mail from the DMV telling me that the payment I made last month for my truck registration (Brent's truck) had been returned by the bank and the tags were now revoked! I had to call and see what was happening, apparently I left off the last digit of my checking account number when I paid online, I'm stupid that way sometimes, but even after they figured out that it was an error and not actual insufficient funds they would not accept payment electronically, I had to go to the DMV with a cashier's check or money order, luckily I was able to handle it at AAA, but not before some asshole, asshole in a Scion xB no less, BACKED INTO ME at the bank! luckily he hit the back corner where the plastic panels are and it didn't do any damage to me, although it did mess up his bumper a little, damn, my car can take a punch! so, anyway, I called the school while in line at AAA and had a teacher cover the first few minutes of my 7th period until I made it back. my washer and dryer got delivered while I was out but they can't be hooked up because of the sewer crap so they are just sitting in my laundry room looking all pretty, I still have no bathroom and no hot water! my insurance company said they'd send someone out in a day or so to survey the damage for a claim on the sewer rupture. all in all though, I got a good enough deal on the house for it to still be worth it to replace this out of my pocket, I just hope I don't have to. check back tomorrow, when I fully expect the heavens to open and for God himself to descend and bitch-slap me, I dunno what else can happen!
