Who: Drarry Draco and Harry.
Where: Voldie's Place, for starters.
Why: Can't have our hero locked up forever, can we?
What: The Great Escape.
Draco had slept little, especially after his conversation with Pansy, but he had slept, and he'd woken with renewed hope and even something approaching optimism. He supposed that for a future that seemed as bleak as his, any change was an improvement. And things were definitely going to change today.
He got to Harry's cell easily. NEWTs were over and seventh year students were pretty much given the run of the grounds, including the other side of the lake. Once he'd appeared in the Dark Lord's home only a few words with Wormtail were needed to gain the key. Draco got the feeling the gibbering mess of a man was as jealous of him as he was scared. It seemed Voldemort favoured him more than he did Pettigrew. Draco seemed more trustworthy. Ah, the irony.
Since enduring his pain during the exam the day before, Draco hadn't felt anything of Harry's. And now he saw why. The boy was lying in a heap on the floor of his cell. Still unconscious. Probably wise of him. Leaving the cell door locked for the moment, Draco reached through the bars and lightly stroked Harry's brow.
