He paused, however, when he saw Susan at the window. They hadn't actually had a proper conversation in a while, and he didn't actually have to go anywhere immediately. He checked his watch just to make sure, and when Ernie finally knew that the time was his, he went over to the window and stood next to her. "Good view?"

She couldn't remember when she last talked to Ernie. She felt like all of her friends were just to busy to talk to her. She never really says it to their faces though. "I was just looking. Yeah it's an okay view."

He wasn't really sure what kind of terms he and Susan were on anymore. They never really talked, and though he thought she was much recovered, Ernie was always slightly afraid of bringing something up that would pain her, even now, when he was only commenting on the view. "I suppose it's better than doing work, though."

"I hate doing homework. I need break." She still tried to be social and be friends with everyone. But when her friends appeared busy she never wanted to interrupt them.
