It looks like not updating here is becoming a habit. This is hardly the worst thing ever, but I am not writing anything anywhere. I also am not really talking to anyone aside from Steven and my mother. This isn't good for me. I still don't fully understand what happened to make me stop wanting to communicate with the whole world, but it did happen and I am still dealing with it. I need to write more and to make more effort to ensure that I do.

To be honest, things are pretty crappy right now. I'm hoping they will get at least somewhat better soon.

I've been working on this post for an hour now and this is all that's come out. I guess it's a start. I do have pictures, though.

Since it is the holiday season, Sebastian has been even more evil than usual. He spends most of his out time flying off of his perch and back to the cage so that he can pretend to be interested in his toys and food. Then, once we look away for a minute, he heads towards the decorations!

As soon as we look at him he will usually stop heading towards whatever bauble has currently caught his eye and feign catlike innocence, so it was hard to get photos of him being evil. I did get two though:

Somehow even when he is being as destructive as possible and making me go after him every three minutes I still think it's adorable. I guess this is because it's clearly not a malicious thing. It's just in his nature and part of who he is. Plus I love the evil glint in his eye.

He's also good at being stereotypically adorable.

He's been much calmer and more well-adjusted for a while now than I ever thought he would be. He's still a neurotic, obsessive freak (yes, I can relate), but he genuinely seems happy most of the time. I'm very proud of him.

This one is from Halloween. Steve stayed longer than he had planned and was able to be here for Halloween and Thanksgiving, so I celebrated them more enthusiastically than usual. We both had the stomach flu on Halloween. Our costumes were meant to be much more involved, be we just weren't up to all of the effort or to wearing any extra stuff. Cristopher looked like a tiny Village Person and Julian looked like, well, Sonic.

And this is what happened to my finger! I cut the whole nail off. I need to go to bed now, but perhaps I will elaborate on this one later.

I also have links. These are Onion articles that I particularly love for anyone who feels like laughing.

Area Homosexual Saves Four From Fire

Oprah Viewers Patiently Awaiting Instructions

And in the spirit of that last one, these are from another site which Steve found. The "Oprah's Favorite Things" one isn't that great overall until the last one, which made me laugh hysterically for quite a while. It genuinely is creepy how Oprah viewers do whatever she says. Josh Groban owes his entire career to her, and the fact that she put his Christmas music on her show this year has made this album sell like crack.

My favorites are "Those Fucking Unicorns" and "The Cornish Gay Men."

And good night.
