wheels are in motion..oh they're turning fo sho
so now that the lines of communication are open, things are rolling right along. the casual, quick emails are flying in and out, making work just fly right by.
if i learned one thing during this internship was how to effectively target a market. and if i apply this same type strategy to olivier, well.."c'est dans la poche". i don't know if "it's in the pocket" translates well into english or not...
anyway, what i mean is that, i happened to mention something that i knew would get him. i asked him if he like matisyahu. the fact that he mentioned reggae music yesterday, the new york connection, the jewish connection..it was impossible that he didn't like him. so at the end of one of the emails i just casually threw it in there. and i got quite a response (use of CAPS even!!), like, omg i can't believe you know/like him. etc etc. yeah. we made a deal that i'll give him my matisyahu songs for his first season of 24, since he lost everything on his ipod/comp.
so i've taken on the title of english professor so he can practice his english while writing to me, but it's more of a way to just joke around. what else? the book he's reading is "i am charlotte simons", by tom wolfe. what else? he literally works like 10 meters from me, on the other side of the fake wall. there are no walls here just big book cases that separate areas. so crazy that he's like..here! wow. so coicidental. or not?
i still need to find out his sign. i'll have to throw that in casually somehow. and the tattoo thing. and the girlfriend thing.
he asked me to go out with him for a cigarette break. a good excuse to get away from my "work" and, well, to see him! ugh he's divine. and i totally snached him up before any other interns, and there are quite a few cute ones here. bah, no comparison to me though. i mean, nothing is in stone of course, i mean, nothing has even "happened" but it's definately on the "bon voie" or right path. definately.
romeo romeo wherefore art thou romeo? who? ooops..the guy that spent friday night chez moi? eughhh quoi?
i'm going over leakhena's to study tonight. law. fun.
