China is still amazing!
I've been hitting all the bars along the river with my uncle. He's 32, acts like he's 25, has a lot of cute college boy friends who are more then willing to get on my good side, and has lived all over the world. He starts stories like, "When I was backpacking through Vietnam..." or "This one time, when I was living in Naples..." or "When I first moved to Tokyo..."
What an interesting dude.
Apparently you can make a good living in China as a dancer or a dance teacher! I met someone, a friend of my uncle's, who made a living teaching salsa for many years. He said he made enough money to travel around Asia and see all sorts of places, all from giving salsa lessons! And he also said that the demand for ballet teachers is very high over here, if I come back after college, chances are I'll be able to find a decant job. So maybe after UHM, I'll go live in China!
I think I'd need to know more Chinese though. So far, I'm up to "Hello," "Thank you," "Thank you (for the compliment)," "Okay!" "Okay?" "Bird," and the sign language for "I'm watching you, are you watching me?" I guess that one's used to hit on people, because I keep getting it from the dude who plays guitar in one of the ho hi bars.
