Post-election... bleeding
Was it just me or were lots of "suits" on TV, yesterday and today, wearing noticably red or blue ties? Code? Big post-election co-inkydink?
Things to do between morning fasting bloodwork and afternoon blood donation: Hit the Shoney's breakfast bar and eat a substantial amount of it. Look at every refrigerator in Sears and buy one. Attempt to find a bag of oyster shell for my new pullets, who have gobbled up many months supply in just weeks.
Well, after losing blood from both arms in one day, I'm still OK. Thanks to the hurricane and now the nor'easter tearing up NJ-NY, the US blood supply is low. Good time to donate. My first time ever! I hope my pint of 0-positive is helpful.
