Well, its been a little while. Again.

Its raining out, so I felt inclined to sleep until FOUR in the afternoon. Thank you, pot.

I got back a few days ago from washington, and hanging out with my washington friends. Strangely enough, no matter how many times I make that trip back and forth, there is always something unreal about it, like I'm dreaming the whole thing but can't wake up. And when I get off the plane in LAX, I wake up. And then I go to the bar next to gate 67A and get hammered for no reason at all except the sheer novelty, while drowning reality in a triple Scotch on the rocks.

Speaking of Scotch on the Rocks, It makes me so very very jealous that so many of my friends are in fucking scotland right now. I could, if I were to go to scotland this instant, throw a well sized party, only inviting my friends there. Fuck.

So, shit, its been party party party since break started. Last week, before I left, I got to see Judd's play at UCLA, starring everyone I know at UCLA except Dave and Muriel, who were there watching anyway: Lindsay, Taylor Ann, Russ, Pat, Chris, Ben Bradford, and more that I'm forgetting right now because i'm stony:-) Emily and her friend Julie came into town, and I took them all over the place, including to 290, which confused them thuroughly, but they seemed to really enjoy the documentary extravaganza that was that particular class. Their favorite was "My Little Country" ;-)

In DC, I went to this crazy film festival, also a documentary fest, but one in particular, called "A walk across Australia" was really fucking good. It was made by this guy named John Muir, one of the people who has climbed Everest, who decided one day that he and his Jack Russel terrier were going to walk across the continent of Australia. For no reason at all. It is definately the most incredible adventure documentary I've ever seen. I went courtesey of Jamie and Ashley, Ashley's parents providing the tickets, so an open thank you to the Houghton family for taking me to see that. After that, Jamie and I went to College Park and drowned ourselves in drunken glory. I met a guy from Russia, which was cool, and a couple very attractive women. God bless east coast girls.

No party fest in Georgetown this time, though I do miss Martin's Tavern.

My new drivers licesnse is hella ugly. It has a crab on it. get it? cause maryland is famous for its crabs? HA HA! We've got crabs!

Anyway, coming back to LA, got my camera back from Nick, and some green from a friend, and went to party at chris and kyle's place, where we got ridiculously wasted. That was tuesday night, wednesday night I went to a crazy sports bar in the OC off of Alicia with Ryan, which was hella cool, and met his girlfriend, and two really good looking women. Guess where they were from: One from New York, the other from DC. God bless east coast girls. It was a hella good time, followed by a Santa Monica Denny's rendezvous with Chris and Mark. Justin came by and joined us, and after telling us about a lot of random shit, told us about a concert he was holding at the M Bar the following evening. Chris was the only other one at the table who was old enough to go, but I had a feeling he wouldn't. Not to be hating on anyone, and I love chris morrell to death, but damn, OC people are fuckin flakey like some shit. Where I come from, if you say you are going to show up somewhere, and find out you can't, you at least call and apologize for something coming up. do OC people do that? No. I HATE that shit. But in Cali culture, apparently, its better to tell someone you'll be there, not pick up the phone when they call you, and tell them you passed out and missed it, while they were actually home fucking their girlfriend or smoking weed. Terrible. F.

Yesterday was also wild, St. Patty's bitches. Started the party off with a visit to mr. Josh Dinner, where we got to catch up and hang out, then to coffee, dropped Josh off, and went to Brigid's to BBQ. Being the only guy at a party full of stoned EAST COAST GIRLS, most visiting from out of town but also Mahrya, and since the guy who was supposed to be cooking everything (brigid's ex-boyfriend) was going to show up three hours late, I got the honor of doing the cooking myself. If I may say so, I did a pretty good job, and I usually wouldn't compiment myself on my own work, but I was rather proud of the fact that I could cook! Don't judge.....:-)

Left the party at Brigid's to go to the M Bar, a really nice club on the corner of Fountain and Vine with Adam, where Justin's band "Satisfaction Wheel" was playing. Fucking awesome show. Kudos to Justin Derrick and Ananda ( I don't know the new drummer's name) for a fantastic show.

Then afterparty at Justin and Adams where we discussed among other things the films of Takashi Miekei, working for Visa, how great green vodka is, a band from 1971 Germany called "CAN" and Robot Chicken.

Now its raining. And the sun is setting futily behind impossible clouds.

"Live life like you're gonna die. Because you're gonna." - William Shatner
"Paris Hilton is the Betty Paige of today." - Justin DiLeo
"The moral of this story, kids, is that you can get cancer. And then die from it." - Optimus Prime
"I'm just saying, piss on Jesus any day, but GOD FORBID you squeeze mayonaise onto a roast beef sandwich" - me, in a drunken ramble last night

Tight.

Cheers. May my Laser Movie come to fruition soon....
