Well, I've got some more artwork up on my site. The hubby has been bothering me about getting a Nursing job. I'm resisting. I'm just burnt out with Nursing and wish I could make a go with my art. I think I'm going to advertise to give art lessons. I all ready have someone I know who would like their dtr to take lessons with me. watercolors, art, worklife

Well, I was all set to start job applications, when I get a call from the EEO mediator. "Did I know that when I resigned they marked my records 'resigned in leu of termination?'" Well, my lawyer advised me to resign, as being a part time employee I basically have no legal leg to stand on. Sucky VA rules...do you know there's a bill in the Senate trying to change that as I type? Anyhow, I guess I should look at this as an opportunity to recreate my life a bit. Well, I can't believe it, but the VA actually fired me (they call it termination)! Everyone who has read the fact finding report tells me they had no reason. Admin. hasn't given me a reason, other then "based on the events of 8/8/08." Triple eights, must be curse. So, now I have to get the lawyer involved. Well, things have gotten out of hand in my real life. Nursing Admin. has screwed me royally. So, the stupidity continues at work. Though we "testified" at the internal investigation 3 weeks ago, I'm still working days instead of my normal evening tour. My assistant chief won't make a decision about changing my tour because he says the chief has to decide. I wrote her an e-mail about it and she writes back that she referred it to him. Argh! The administration at work makes me so angry! So, went into work today prepared to do their "reorientation" of mandatory reviews and they've decided that we( the other RN and I) need to have precepters on the unit.
