It was this or a tree. A picture in the wallet, or a tree in the yard out back.
The picture is absolute crap, but to get me and Ironhide both in the shot, you have to back up thirty feet and be damn skilled with a camera. The sun's glaring in the lens and it's hotter than fuck, but you still take the picture with Ironhide just because you can and you'll look back on this one day and smile.
The tree would have been more for Sarah and Annabelle's benefit. "Something we all could enjoy." Maybe for Annie, yeah, but Sarah… I have to wonder sometimes if she knows or even suspects how much Ironhide meant to me.
Ironhide wouldn't want a tree anyway.

To be perfectly honest, this fill sucks like whoa, I just wanted it done and out of my fucking hair. If only my first foray in Bayverse fic could be happier. Oh well.
Also, this is hella important: Don’t be bringing up Bayverse Sentinel Prime and his suckage / lack of suckage / inevitable comparison to his TFA counterpart on this. If you do, so help me God I will hunt your ass down and beat you over the head with a salmon.
