This silly cat of mine.

Yoda has been utterly adorable and/or annoying lately.

After I left her for a week, she slept on or beside my bed for quite some time, until she was confident that I was not going to leave her again and returned to sleeping downstairs.

Now, since I've been packing up stuff to prepare to move, she is seemingly rather worried and has been perching herself on top of the boxes. She's also sleeping with me or beside me again and has been demanding extreme amounts of attention.

I'm now constantly coated with white fur (I'm threatening to dye her black more often than usual), and she hardly lets me get work done because she needs to sit on my computer or crawl on top of me when I'm trying to read or insists on sitting on my leg and yells at me when I move because my leg has fallen asleep (it's astonishing how heavy a five or six pound cat can make herself).

I don't blame her for being worried, but her devotion is completely proven and she doesn't understand when I tell her, "We're going to move to a new, better house with lots more windows and where the ceiling doesn't leak and there's actually heat in all of the rooms! AND you'll have a jungle gym!"

During the time that it took me to write this, she called out to me and came to check on me at least six times. Oh, Bee.

...and Lucy's a completely different story.

yoda, geekiness, vanity, pussycats
