I'm getting ready to go to work for what could be 48 hours straight due to Wilma. According to our Chief Meterologist, it should hit the West Coast as a cat 3 and then hit us as a cat 2. I spent the morning putting up shutters and getting our house prepared before I'm off. I'm all packed and ready to go, with a few days of clothes, supplies, food, and my blow up aero bed. Although I'll have to work for 12 hour shifts, live at the station for atleast a day, and deal with a bunch of crazies while trying to get our WALL to WALL coverage all sorted out there are a few pluses. We will NOT lose power, hence A/C and refridgeration the whole time, we'll be grilling up some yummy food, and from what I hear it is a party-like atmosphere at work, despite all the stress and hectic-ness.
This should be interesting.
