(no subject)
well, it's been an amazing week... Monday night it was raining so Amanda and I didn't get to go to our Monday night baseball game. Instead we went to see Madagascar which was HYSTERICAL!!! I love how Dreamworks makes movies that are not meant to be understood by children! Tuesday night did the "Tuesday night swampgrass" thing with Chrissy, Katie and Lauren. I wasn't planning on going by for long. Wasn't really in the mood to deal with certain people. Mikey was there when I got there. Good stuff. Josh came by later. The girls and I were kinda upset that people were playing and we couldn't take ovre the jukebox. I had completely forgotten that Mike played until later on the next day. But he did do FALL!!! WOOHOO!!! "out of tune" so excited to hear that song! I think that officially made my night. Ended up leaving there around 2:30 (i thought i was 1:30... thanx katie)
Wednesday night I went to see "The Longest Yard" with Chrissy and Katie. Have I mentioned that i LOVE Adam Sandler. I think he would be so much fun to live with! Good movie. Funny stuff. I do think it could have been made a little shorter though.
Thursday... BEST NIGHT OF THE WEEK! I left work at 4:30... met up with everyone here at 5... and then we headed on down to Clematis. We wanted to be there early because we wanted to make sure WE WERE RIGHT SMACK UP FRONT. Went to bradleys to have some food... then met the coolest dog around (he had some cool owners too... amanda, we'll pass him your way!, haha) Sat through the first band... Rythym Nation... that singer was DEF hot, why didn't we invite him to the beach? HAHA It wasn't hitting me that Lifehouse would soon be RIGHT in front of us (cos we were right in front of the stage)... Finally, the moment came when I spotted Jason, Rick and Bryce backstage... at that moment, i was ready... the guys came out and played an AWESOME SET! out of 11 songs, 6 were from No Name Face... I mean i love the 2 new albums but still, something about No Name Face... about the fact that they played Somewhere In Between, Breathing... and after those first 2 notes when katie and I looked at each other in complete disbelief "is this really what I think it is?"
Got poured on during Breathing but it put a whole new vibe into it. Jason kept laughing at us, which was awesome!
After that we headed back to my place where Katie and I changed and fixed our hair a little bit... then got to Jumby in perfect timing... "Come on katie, run, it's Nowhere Again". Had a great time at jumby. When to the beach with the crew afterwards and got home at 4:45, to be awake at 7 for work! AHhhhhhhh
GREAT WEEK... wish people didn't disappear...
