You know. I don't know how many of you no people out there who read this give a shit, but George Carlin meant a lot to me growing up. Probably a lot more than Vonnegut. This is before Bill Hicks. Before Nathanael West. Before Candid. Before I became the snob I am now. Some asshole ripped part of his last HBO special onto youtube. They put their own stamp onto it, but I was too lazy to look for another version of this. I didn't want to post the bit where George tells us there's no God and that he prays to Joe Pesci because he looks like a guy who could get things done, and the prayers are answered with the same ratio. We all know god doesn't exist or is irrelevant. God Hates Us All, right Slayer fans? This was shot earlier this year and aired in March, I believe. HBO is showing a marathon of his standup specials starting tomorrow night. His album Class Clown got me through high school, not because of the stairway to heaven like seven dirty words, but because of the catholic humor. And his A Place for my Stuff! is up there with Bill's Rant in E-Minor and everything Richard Pryor recorded, for best comedy album ever.
