Sports Thoughts
I've been aware of this for some time now, but it's really starting to get ridiculous;
I have a penchant for inadvertently finding myself near amazing sports teams.
My luck is a true fan's dream come true. For me it is a combination of fun, learning, and the occasional inconvenience.
Three years at USC = two national football championships and a third trip to the finals.
Summer 2004 at home = Boston Red Sox finally break the Curse of the Bambino.
The New England Patriots start winning championships.
Summer 2005 in Blacksburg = Virginia Tech proves itself undoubtedly among the top 5 football teams in the nation.
And all of a sudden the L.A. Clippers are actually good?!
And now the over-the-hill-club Les Bleus out here in France is in the World Cup Finals????!!
This is crazy!
I'll be in Paris for the final!
