head, shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes

So even though I have no desire to watch End of Time Part I or Part II (except...I do love Donna. If I love Donna, o wise flist, will I want to watch this, or will it make me angry all over again?), I did watch the regeneration scene and the trailer for Eleven because I'm still a fangirl at heart. And to my surprise I'm actually looking forward to the next series now. ikr, after all my bitching about casting Matt Smith? I liked the OTTness of the body part check-in and "I'm a girl!" was funny, though I see what you did there, Rusty (or Moffat, whoever wrote that bit). I see.

I checked out of Doctor Who fandom sometime in April-May and I thought I was done with it so I don't know if Eleven's still supposed to be all emo sparkly vampire Doctor or not (though the trailer suggests no) but from the trailer the new series looks like it will be sorts of fun, and oh hi there weeping angel, icu. Maybe I'm just ready for new characters and new adventures.

So, Doctor Who, you are back on tentative fandom territory for me, contigent, of course, on how many times "geronimo" is said in the first few episodes. I only have so much patience.

damn it, I hate it when I switch timezones, I get so confused. No wonder nothing popped up yet when I refreshed certain comms.
