um. stuff.
1. It's easy to tell that the hedgehogs aren't hibernating any more. They're decorating our roads as slightly three-dimensional Rorschach blots. *sigh*
2. Fractal McFractalpants, of the clan McFractal, continues to be adorable and awesome. I made her very happy by giving her a badly handsewn blood-red top hat for her birthday (with black piping, whee, piping!), and she wore a sexy outfit to our Halloween party, and there were possibly some sexxings, and then PANCAKES for BREAKFAST! Pancakes of GLORY.
2b) The hat made me remember other hats of old, which made me realise: meriae, you totally never got your hat, did you? I am sneaking suspicions that it was delayed and showed up after you moved, or got lost in the post, or got eaten by a spaghetti monster (not the flying kind).
3. I paid off my credit card the other day. Hell yeah. Now, some of my hours of overwork can go towards real savings. Huzzah!
Spud, I'm trying to think of short story type things, but most of the "omg kiwi lit!" is longer. Like Whale Rider (watching the movie totally doesn't count). There's Katherine Mansfield, I suppose. I must think.
