First of all, rest in peace Charlton Heston. I just learned you passed away right now. Your performance in the Ten Commandments will always be legendary to me.

I can't go to sleep. Partly because I've been sleeping completely jacked up this week. I think it started Thursday when I began to feel sick. I slept most of the day away. Then I had to stay up to have my blood drawn at 8 in the morning in San Dimas. So I just stayed awake until 11 am. Slept until 6 pm. Throw in a long nap at night and you get an idea of my sleeping schedule. Blegh.
The other reason I'm still awake is because all of a sudden I got excited about my trip to the Bay Area. I haven't really been looking forward to it like, heck yes! I think it's because I look back at my previous trips, which were amazing, or off, or both. Last time I was there was just a night stayover after I flew back from Japan. It was fun but I was still in a daze. Reverse culture shock and such. The visit before that was good and flirty and I did things I've always wanted to do but never did... but the end of the trip was sour. And the trip before that was the one most similar to this trip. I stayed about the same length of time, same month, and watched PCN. Lots of fun moments with Rice, LPG, PCN, and assorted friends. Lots of reminiscing. But the stay was so long that I did feel lonely at some points. After all, everyone's got there stuff to do. And now, even more so, my friends have moved on, graduated, are working elsewhere. So there'll be even less people to hang out with. around campus.
But now I say BAH to the negativity! There are still many awesome friends at Berk right now. And I'm the master of wasting time, after all. And besides... this is... goodbye. It's why I'm doing this. I really don't know when I'll be back to the bay since I'm moving to Japan... and even if I do go back some day, it won't be the same. Soon I'll know next to no one going to Berkeley. No one's place to sleep over. No one to drink with at the Bear's Lair. No one to say "hi"t o at a PASS/PAA meeting or Theatre Rice show. And college kids will seem like... just that. kids. So I really have to make the best of this visit, don't I?
Goodbye... hmnh...
