The ferry from Port Angeles.

At least once a day the Como Ferry from Port Angelese (about 30 miles south of here in the US) arrives. It's a dull, squat, grey car ferry that steams into the harbour looking like a slug in a salad.

Every time it annouces it's arrival with a blast or seven from it's air horn.

And for a moment I hope the Captain today will do it to the rhythm of the intro to Jump Around by the House of Pain.

They never do.
