I'll try to bring out the Children's day one in the future! it's actually kinda comfy but very hot. :(
I know most of my jpop artists through anime and dramas lol. I listen to a lot of random solo artists from Japan typically (like Lecca~). Ummm, I found Arashi through a drama~ I watched the j-Hana Yori Dango, was interested in curly haired dork Tsukasa (played by Matsumoto Jun), and found out Jun was in a boyband. And the rest is history! From there I moved to other Johnny's Entertainment groups like KAT-TUN (the more edgier, hardcore boyband) and NEWS (the devil-may-care, random-lulz boyband).
I have to say, Jun's not the best singer or anything, but that's okay with me because they usually harmonize in Arashi anyway? ;D He doesn't solo often. Plus I love how he's got this very regal, stern appearance but the dorkiest smile and is not as calm/collected as his image suggests! (he's the guy in my icon)
If you want I can find some of my favorite Arashi songs? :D They've been pretty active recently, and I've still gotta get my hands on their 10th anniversary album (which came out last year, good Lord). But. I'll stop here, hehe.
I actually have no clue where the ABO thing started! I first heard it in NEWS 'Koi no Abo' PV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlosKEDGkqc I know it has to do with blood types, so I think they're (in NEWS' case) just talking about how love crosses the boundaries between the different blood types? I also heard somewhere that Asians put more stock into that than us in the West do. *shrug*
Ah, yeah, it would be warm. 8'C I'm hoping Saboten won't be too bad this year, because a couple of my cosplays involve big jackets again...
Oh~ I was wondering who that was in your icon! It kinda looks like a supporting character from Oh My Lady, but since you had it before that drama aired it obviously was not. I shall check out Hana Yori Dango, he sure does look adorkable. x3
And yeah, I'd love to hear some Arashi recs, hit me! 8'D
Ahaha, Asia and blood types... X'D I don't even know what my blood type is, forget what it might say about my personality. That would make sense though, A, B, and O... and lol, NEWS seems so poppy and bouncy~ can't stop listening... x'D
Def. recommending Hana Yori Dango! An emotional roller coaster for sure, but so worth it. I'll warn you though: MatsuJun's character, Domyouji Tsukasa? Huge douchebag for the first few episodes. =_= Very easy to dislike him. But then he just becomes more of a fail!bully and the dorkiness comes out. This I believe is Jun's best role. They say he's the 'actor' of Arashi, but I believe Nino and Ohno have him beat. Nino had a leading role in Clint Eastwood's "Letters from Iwo Jima", didja know? :D
I haven't heard much of Arashi's early stuff as I only got into them in the past three years so that's all I know. ;D I will show you my favorites only for the sake of shortness, haha.

+ "Wish" here Theme song for the first HYD. Pretty cute. Spanish subs though instead of English, lol.
+ "Sakura Sake" here. One of my personal favorites! This one doesn't really make sense, but it's hilarious.
+ "Hey Hey Lovin' You" here Unfortunately not a video, but I couldn't help it, this song really grows on you!
+ "Believe" here if this is deleted when you see it, lemme know. xD This one's elusive. I LOVE this song and PV, I think it really highlights the group's harmony but also Nino's + Ohno's vocals and Sho's rap.
+ "Monster" here I feel like I must show you this one 'cause it's so different from the others. I don't think Arashi ever does anything dark, but this PV certainly is close--though the lyrics are more wistful like their other stuff.
+ "Tokei Jikake no Umbrella" here Why there isn't a PV for this I have no idea, this song simply calls for some costumed Arashi dancing. >(
+ "To Be Free" here I think this is my recent favorite. It's such an uplifting song, no understanding of the words is needed...
