An Open Letter

Dear Generations Who Came Before Mine,

I'm writing regarding your complete disregard for your the needs of your children. Your lives are already half over, and mine is just beginning. With that in mind, I'm afraid I just can't allow you to continue to rape and pillage the world's natural resources. I will need them long after you're dead.

That being said, I'm afraid that I've come to reclaim the following in the name of those from my generation who require these goods to survive.. It has been itemized for your convenience:
1) The atmosphere, minus all the pollutants you will pour into it over the next few decades before you die.
2) Space, minus the billions of tons of debris your generation will pump into it.
3) The oceans, with all associated lifeforms.
4) The ground. All of it.

Thank you for promptly complying with this request. Global warming isn't a myth, it isn't pseudoscience, and above all it isn't funny. Stop pretending it is.

Warmest regards (no pun intended),
--
Me and my generation.
