Same with my job. We screw people out of money. The lack of ethics shock me. I've been told twice in the past week to forge legal documents using signatures and a photocopier.
Everyone is starting to hate the job. Everyone realizes that, in the past 2 months, ethics have gone out the window. Everyone bitches to me about it. I bitch about it, too.
Thing is we do shit loans. They are handed to me and they tell me to carve David from them. I get no thanks from it. I get hardly any money from it. If something goes wrong the loan officers and managers ask me why. If something is slow they ask me why. If I try to shoehorn a piece of shit through the underwriters ask me if I actually expect them to approve the loan and turn it down. Then I get asked why it was turned down. Basically the loan officers give shit, the managers try to make us eat the shit, the underwriters kill the shit (the only ones using any ethics) and it becomes my problem.
Suck. I'm so out of here. I can't deal with a place that's probably going to get shut down.
