Today something really cool happened. I was sitting at my computer this afternoon talking to random people on AIM and MSN because I'm a dork like that and my phone rang. I didn't recognize the number, but proceeded to answered. Turns out it was Roy Ockert Jr., the Editor-in-Chief of the Jonesboro Sun. He said he received my resume a while back, but that there weren't any spots available. However, he said there was one now and asked if I was still interested. Of course, I answered with a "yes." So, I have an interview at The Sun tomorrow at 11 a.m. That makes me kinda glad I never sent that letter to the editor bashing Turbeville's last article. Haha. If I got that job, I'm sorry, but I would have to tell Wal-Mart "nevermind" about working there. They're being rather ignorant anyways by taking so damn long to call Drew and I back for orientation.
Today was, once again, a rather uneventful day. I went over to Meg's house and hung out for a while. We managed to put-together and install her new printer/copier/scanner thing. And of course, none of my trips to Meagan's are complete without Mrs. Patti giving me a story of some sorts. Haha. "You never told me he was a boy!" Right, Meg? Hehe. Too cute. After that I went by Will's for a while, but he and Drew were just playing Civilization 3 on his computer... which, to say the least, isn't the most interesting thing in the world. I went home for a while and then went over to Masters' for a while where I hung out, watched him and a few other guys drink beer -- all the while yearning for this weekend to hurry up and get here so I can do the same, but in much greater amounts. :-) On my way home, I swung by Liz's house and ate some cake that she, Donna, and Tiff had made. I must say, it was very good, despite being incredibly sweet. Good job though, girls!
And here I sit, not really wanting to sleep, feeling a little hungry, and downloading music because I'm a bum like that. Oh well. You kids have a good one and I'll talk to you later.
Oh, and good luck on the quiz tomorrow, Meg. I know Biology sucks ass, but it's a hell of a lot better than chemistry, any day of the week.
