Wow, watch me not post.
So, I haven't even read my flist pretty much since Nano. (Which, yes, I'm doing this year, and for those of you new to the journal who don't know what Nano is --
nanowrimo.org.) Please, tell me what I've missed! And I shall try to be a bit more diligent.
Anyway, I changed my major. Don't worry, it's still music. I've just switched from Music Technology to Music Business. Basically, the curriculum is better suited to my talents, and there are more job opportunities once I graduate. I'm basically doing the last of the paperwork for Professor Tini (the Music Business advisor here at Wayne State U.) and it'll be settled. Good stuff, yeah? Anyway, it makes me feel much more capable as a student.
Another thing that makes me feel capable? Getting A's on projects.
Another thing? Getting into the recording studio on campus. I recorded the vocals for a song a few classmates and I wrote this semester, over a totally kickass track. Normally it would be myself and the soprano friend I wrote it with singing the vocals, but she couldn't make it, so I laid down both parts. When our engineer gets it mixed down and such, I'll share a copy. It's good stuff (IMHO).
That's about all that's going on over here. How are your lives?
