I'm not gonna write you a love song

This is a teaser of a possible continuation or sequel to "Stand-Up Truth".  I do like the idea of doing more Ralph stand-up.  And I love the idea of having some "special guests" at a Ralph roast, but I figured I wanted to float some pieces out there before I start down that rode.  Feedback is always welcome.

Absolutely amazing. I know I was the one who suggested it (or at least one person who did) but I am really excited to read the rest. Very awesome.

I'm glad you liked it. And hopefully it won't take me forever to come up with the rest. I hope. :)

I really do want to write that Ralph roast. It will happen. And stuff from the Battle of the Bands will come up. Especially a particular fashion choice. I'll try to do the Dasey special first.

The one snag is I feel the need to watch some back LWD to do a good job here...and finding those on-line have been hard as of late. We'll see. I do have a slower week coming up soon.

Yep, Derek's a famous hockey player in this so...yeah. Lizzie as a POV is a useful "set of eyes", especialy to turn on Dasey.

As for the second anniversary gift...I'd tell you if I knew. Ralph and Lizzie were rather closed-mouth about what it was. I get the impression it was dirty and wildly inappropriate...but we love Ralph anyway.

Oddly enough, I wouldn't say Liz is my favorite character, but I like using her eyes for stuff. She seems very observant...and a little deeper than Edwin in a sense. She also has a quiet way of calling people on their stuff, which is really useful as a storytelling devise.

Besides, I like trying to figure out what happens to everyone in the future.

I'm glad you liked it.

That was fantastic! The Brangelina line was classic.

Given the name combo that we use to refer to Derek and Casey, I couldn't resist the Brangelia reference. In Ralph's world Dasey probably is that epic though.

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

AHH. AWESOME. That is so cool. And you TOTALLY channeled Tim Gunn there; super-coolness! I feel so ashamed for loving that show. I don't watch it regularly because I'm a snob. But when I do: LOOK OUT. Total fangirly. I want to marry Tim, I seriously do. Or at least have him critique my outfit. Just once.

I digress. It was awesome. I love your sense of humor - and I think it's a great hook for a story. Is it going to be like, a WIP? Or a really long one-shot?

Anyway. The voiceovers, I think you did fine with. One thing that might help with formatting - I assume you use rich text most of the time? I think it'd help if you switched to just using plain text - or if you want to stick with rich text, then use it...consistently, I guess. It looks like you're having trouble with font size, or something. Anyway, I stick to plain-text mode and just use HTML. Takes a bit longer, but it's so much less complicated, and it takes way less time to load - and messes up WAY less.

Anyway, I'm excited to read more. :)

I'm not sure what is up with the formating. This was actually just a cut and paste from Word. Sometimes I think LJ hates me.

I probably channel Tim so well because I'm a Project Runway junkie. Since I got hooked during season 2, I can count the episodes I've missed on one hand...and I usually catch them in re-runs. I even read the Entertainment Weekly recaps. Yep, I'm that bad.

I'm glad you liked it. I'm not sure if I'd go loong one-shot or WIP. I leaning toward one-shot, if for no other reason than my WIPs never seem to get finished. It could be a triology in a sense, Stand-Up Truth, this fic, and a Ralph roast fic. Although, if I ever feel like I could get a handle on them, a Shemily story as told by Ralph could be rather funny too.
