I just finished watching the 22nd episode (Land Slide) of Season 1 of Heroes on NBC. It is so frustrating, because I watch as people fail to make the right decision and as some people make the right decision and die. It is destiny, I suppose. It is amazing how much people change when they are fearful; including myself. It's an awesome series, I highly recommend it. Each episode is better than the last.
On another note, I went to see Edward Scissorhands at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle with my boyfriend and his Mom for Mother's Day. It was amazing. I wore a white off the shoulder short-sleeve shirt with black beading, a long black skirt, fish nets, black knee-high boots, a black-beaded choker, and black arm warmers. After all, I was going to watch Edward Scissorhands. Warning...I'm about to boast. I felt very beautiful and elegant. I was wearing four inch heels and without shoes I am 5' 8'' or so. I walked through a crowd, taller than most at almost 6' tall, wearing appropriate gothic attire for a ballet. I got my tax return so decided to spend quite a bit extra on the better seats. We saw the last show of a two-year tour in the U.S. and Europe. I am so lucky. :) I didn't realize how much could be said with dance. The audience was laughing a lot. I cried near the end when they crucified Edward. The scene changes and music were awesome. The plot was a little different from the movie, but the message was still the same. The costume for Edward was amazing. I think the dancer who played Edward, portrayed Edward very well with his mannerisms and boyish nature. I want to watch the movie again. How they portrayed Edward's fascination with Kim was creative. They had a thin screen that served as a backdrop. The screen had three paintings of Kim in her cheerleader uniform in Kim's bedroom where Edward stayed. They had three cheerleaders dancing behind the photographs and then danced with Edward as he fell asleep. It was awesome to see the paintings "move". They also had dancing shrubs with Edward and Kim.
My boyfriend and I had a great dinner at Red Robin, then came home and watched two episodes of Heroes while eating Mountain High Mud Cake from Red Robin. Yummy. There goes my diet, lol. I've been watching what I eat lately and I have dropped five pounds. The idea is to drop five or ten more pounds and build muscle and tone my body. If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to message me.
