Sakura ga (mada) saite nai
Whew! I have been caught up in a flurry of activity lately- the nice weather turned up and it seemed like I couldn't get enough of it :) I have been spending my days in the park near my house writing and taking walks. It has been refreshing and I'm glad that I can now write without it feeling forced. I think all those wonderful children's stories that were suggested helped! :)
I have also picked up work on my quilt again- for a while there I felt like I wasn't making any progress, which was discouraging. Luckily, I was out getting lunch with a friend near a great fabric store- we went inside after lunch just to take a peek and seeing all the lovely fabric remotivated me! :) My friend also saw a fat quarter that he absolutely fell in love with, despite the fact that he has never sewn anything in his life :) So we're getting together tomorrow so that he can borrow from my scraps and make a fat quarter project. We found this great website with tons of ideas and links to other places with directions and pictures: http://sewmamasew.com/blog2/?p=751 there are so many cute ideas here! :) Perhaps I'll make a fat quarter project as well :)
Looks like we might have a buyer for the house (keep your fingers crossed!) which is nice because it means I can stop showing the house every day :P
I also went to a flower show with some friends today- I got the cutest plants! I'll try to post pictures of them tomorrow- I am absolutely in love with them :D
