Learnin'
Piano lesson, i had today. I was a little brain dead after a 3 hour project discussion. I didn't know what to expect cos' it's been a while since i last played the piano with my aunt. I was a little nervous and worried, but when i reached, i wonder why did i even bother! Lessons with my aunt is always enjoyable. I learnt a lot and still feel like there's so much more to learn. She corrected my beat and refreshed my memory of reading those darn little notes. She even taught me a few new songs! After watching her play, i'm truly inspired. (: I promise to practice and never stop learning again.
I dropped by Karen's while on my way back. She's having her last paper tomorrow and i'll finally get to spend a day with her this coming friday! We had a nice short chat before she went back to the books and me, back to the track.
Since i had nothing planned out in the evening, i thought i'd go for a easy slow run. It was slow, alright, but nowhere near easy. Towards the last 100m or so my legs are so out of it that i was much faster walking than running. I didn't even bother timing myself. I felt pretty good, though. Feeling the wind against my face, willing my legs to spread further with each step, the hot sweat trickling down. It was just me and the wind tonight. Shiok.
