Cookie, the rebellious teenage dog
Unknowingly, my dog has turned from a puppy to an adolescence stage. Will dogs, like teenagers, rebel in this stage?!
He seemed to have thrown away all his toilet training and started taking a leak at random places. As and when he likes it. Although we have a fixed spot for him, he absolutely ignored the newspapers laid out for him. We know whenever he took a leak somewhere he's not supposed to, because his ears would go down and he has this guilty look on his face. And instead of coming to us, like he normally would, he would sit in a corner, and sometimes, go to his punishment corner without us teling him to.
And this really puzzled me because since he knows that taking a leak anywhere else but the spot that we have fixed for him is wrong, why does he still do it?!
This morning, I walked out of my room and saw Cookie hiding in a corner, and I knew immediately he did something wrong. Then I saw the yellow puddle right in the middle of the living room... urgh!
It reminds me of those days when he was just a small pup and I had to stay home all day to keep him company, clean up after his mess and let him sleep next to me while I'm watching tv. Anybody knows how I can toilet train Cookie again?
