Bessie's 18th
Happy 18th birthday Ye!!
It was one mad rush trying to get the perfect birthday gift for the birthday girl. Thank God she absolutely love the pair of red heels we got for her from Topshop. And the surprise was pretty much a success, thanks to Bessie being so worn out she didn't even hear us enter her house! Yes, she was sound asleep on the couch, in a very weird position I must add, and even though I walked right past her, she didn't hear a thing! We hid in her room, waiting for the rest, getting the cake ready. Armed with some party poppers, we woke her up with our loud birthday song. The expression on her face, priceless! She was so shocked, so sleepy, that I think she stoned there for about a minute or so, not knowing what to do, until I reminded her to blow her candles.
The poor birthday girl was pretty much in a daze, even during supper.
I remember hearing someone say, "Bessie, so lucky." ;)
