learning over the weekend
I just came back from 1724 retreat yesterday and man, it was so much fun! It's been a long while since we last had a fellowship like that (seeing each other for more than 3 hours and without meetings!). We studied the book of Titus, and I learnt about what it takes to be a leader in God's kingdom. I will elaborate more on that later.
I really enjoyed myself over the weekend, despite having very little sleep. I woke up this morning with a mighty headache, at a very bad timing too.
Today's my first day of work. My boss was half an hour late. And like he said in our short interview, he is hardly in the office. I had some hiccups with the programme download, but other than that, I'm pretty fine with the job. Making calls to other agents, enquiring about property on sale. The office is huge, but nobody talks to anybody. Suits me fine since I'm only going to be here for 2 weeks. I think my internship has trained me well!
Okay, 30 minutes more to knock off. I'm famished!
PS: The phones here has a very loud and sharp ringing tone and there's nothing I can do to adjust it. It's so embarrassing when I jump everytime my phone rings. Grr!!
