It's been so long since I last played tennis that when I took my racket out today, it was covered in dust.

The sun was up, and the rain hid away. A good day for tennis! Sherman and I went to our court, and started swinging here and there. I'm not a good tennis player, just a beginner who could hardly hold a rally longer than a minute. Half an hour into the game, I had a nasty fall. I could feel the pain on my ankles, and Sherman gave me a good rub. Still, it feels tight. So I decided that I have enough for the day, and poor Sherman was left practicing his serving since his partner is out now.

I'm back home nursing my ankle, which has swollen a little now. Sherman asked if i'd want to see a sinseh, but I shook my head violently. The first, and hopefully the last time I visited a sinseh, was when I was still in the softball team. My ankle was twisted so bad, that it ballooned up to double its size. I vaugely remember hopping my way to the sinseh, and gripping the chair so hard that my knuckles turned white, tears rolling down my eyes as the sinseh does her thing with my poor ankle. After the session, my ankle turned into a shade of blue and black, and I was told to rest as much as I could for the week. If the pain still persists, I was to see her again the next week.

Thankfully my ankle was on its way to a short and sweet recovery.

I decided that my ankle now, is not serious enough to see a sinseh, but serious enough to leave me limping for god knows how many days. I'm upset because I have very exciting plans lined up for the week ahead. :(

Meanwhile, Sherman's really sweet and cooked me dinner while I rest my ankle. I'm famished. Off to eat now. :)

exercise, love
