I LOVE TUESDAYS!!!!!!!!!!
Tuesdays are AMAZING!!! I am busy pretty much all day long and it's great. I'll go through it with you cuz it makes me happy.
First thing is to practice for Caucus. Then at 10 I have caucus. Today I caucused 2 bills. It was actually a little disappointing because I was really ready to answer questions that I was pretty sure people would ask and then nobody asked any questions. I was a little disappointed cuz I was totally and completely ready! Oh well.
There was free lunch today which is always a plus even if it wasn't that great.
Get ready for CMMA committee and Transportation prebrief.
CMMA committee. Today we talked about a cable bill so we were there a long time. So long in fact that I again had to leave early. Liisa emailed me the briefing and then I printed it out and went to do the prebrief. I grabbed copies of liisa's bills so i could at least read them before I tried to explain them.
It was fun...I did the briefing about 4 times today. I started talking with mr farley about it and then mrs trasher came in so since everyone I started. Half way through mr ableser came in so we did it all over agian. They asked me a bunch of questions about liisas bills that i couldnt answer and it was fun. and then they changed a bunch of stuff on me that was interesing and then changed again when prezelski and liisa finally got there. liisa could answer the questions they had and that was good cuz i didnt know that a striker was real and liisa did so its good they came in cuz otherwise we could have had some problems. things got a little heated though, but it was a lot of fun cuz it was all true and its nice to know that im not the only one who feels that way about certain things that im not sure i should put out on the public internet.
anyway...then i went and wrote an amendment that i get to distribute tomorrow...I LOVE distributing amendments!! it's fun.
then tonight I got to go to a UA pride night where there was free food and free stuff and I got my picture taken with the UA president and the house minority leader who's the coolest guy EVER. He wears a bow tie and he's just awesome. He makes me proud to be a democrat, especially from Tucson.
Ms. Sinema and Mr. Gallardo make me proud to be a democrat too because of their Homeland Security committee yesterday but it's way too long to add to this already lengthy entry. Pretty much...Democrats ROCK!!! I love it!!
I have so much energy right now from today and I don't think Im going to be able to get to sleep for a while which is bad cuz I definately need sleep and its 10pm and I haven't been getting up on time which is bad for my carpool. There's free breakfast tomorrow though. I love free food too and there's tons of it at the capitol!!!!
Ok...this is probably doesnt make much sense cuz I have a lot of adrenaline running through me and I tend to not make much sense with this much adrenaline but it's awesome and I think I want to work in politics. Ok Im done now.
