[Meriken is sitting on the sidewalk, facing the house in front of her. It's a few houses down from where she actually lives, but she still seems to be looking at it expectantly, as if she knows something will happen.
You may notice that next to her is a pile of library books, and after having a rather one sided staring contest with the door, she picks one up and examines it. Seemingly with interest...

The book flies, slamming into the door loudly. Actually, she's just going to sit there, tossing books at the door. One after another...
Anyone on her street will probably notice, or hear what she's doing.
