Bella knew it was her own fault she was stuck at this very boring gathering and not a drop of alcohol in her system.
In her defense she thought Bruce was going to be there that night. She wouldn't need to drink, she would just spend the night talking to the billionaire and everything would be perfectly fine.
But alas, that wasn't the case. Bella sat in a corner, drinking unspiked punch and watching her co-workers getting drunk off their asses.
Ashly stumbled over to black haired girl. "Bells, why are you so alone over here?"
"Because you're getting shitfaced even though you know we have work tomorrow and I'm driving you home. Remember?" Bella thumped her head and sighed.
Ashly pouted. "Not my fault your boytoy isn't here tonight. Don't take it out on me." She stuck her tongue out and walked away, only tripping once.
