Everyone I spoke to after the gig said they really liked us. My friend Lizzie just posted in her Journal "caxton were more fun than 100 cans of silly string". you can't argue with a compliment like that!
Hey, I'd be keen to be set straight on this, as I could be wrong about the piano thing. I doubt I'm any higher than fifth in the piano standings, I'm potentially lower. However, I'm guessing the real issue here is that you see many more ways in which the pianists at church are out in the world than I do. I do try to chat with the pianists about what they're doing with their playing (e.g. Adam applying to work as a cocktail pianist at a hotel, Matty P playing Rhapsody In Blue for a concert), but would be very happy to hear your perspective on this issue.
