I watched Fist of Fury on Sunday afternoon. Bruce Lee is the fifth apprentice, and yet ultimately the one who gets the job done.
Alison commented that I am the fifth apprentice at church. I am the fifth in line in terms of seniority, I think the order is Matty P, Chris, Adam, Nicola, then me. Alison also finds this amusing because I'm really the only pianist who's out in the world doing anything.
Speaking of which, our show at the Hopetoun Hotel last night was a little shambolic. Things falling over, my voice being really out of tune etc. Oh well, next show should be a cracker. I'd like to get more consistent, but I just don't know how to do it. Any suggestions from the audience?
I finished reading Bleak House on Sunday evening, as I couldn't sleep. It was a great read. It left me thinking this, "Why don't I just read Dickens all the time?"
