It's.. been an interesting few days. It's safe to say that Isis has taken the uplink for granted more than she'd admit to most anyone, as, well. It was always there. She's finished grading assignments, she's finished working on what she has planned next for Nexus history, and is now working on what she needs to do for Ethics of Magic.
This is something that she usually discusses with Professor Snape, which is then making her realize how much she takes for granted from the Nexus.
As she's staring at the page, there's a sound, and a confused yelp from the basement. Which makes Isis pause and run through a mental list. Eiko's somewhere else in the house, and that sure as heck didn't sound like her.

"Oh gods, the portal." It's still there, and god knows what just came through. o_o
