Hey, new Authority fan, and a new poster. I recently bought TPB with the Nativity arc, and was given Jenny Sparks: The Secret History of the Authority from a friend. Reading the second one, I noticed a bit of a breach in the Doctor's history

I think it's meant to be an exaggerated passing comment; the Doctor's in the sort of state where he'd attempt suicide at the death of a pet, and the gutter's probably cleaner than his apartment.
