Hey, new Authority fan, and a new poster. I recently bought TPB with the Nativity arc, and was given Jenny Sparks: The Secret History of the Authority from a friend. Reading the second one, I noticed a bit of a breach in the Doctor's history.
In Nativity, it's stated that Jenny Sparks found him "lying in a gutter in Amsterdam" after trying to kill himself because his cat died. But in JS:TSH, he's hanging out in a flat in Amsterdam after getting out of a psych ward. No cat, no gutter, and it seems like he and Jenny are meeting for the first time.
Is this explained at any other time, or is it just a writer's flop?
