so...being one of 7 girls at a school of 200+ has its perks and then it has its downfalls. One of which is b/c of the small amount of us girls, there are more guys per girl to pick on said girl...thus...needless to say...we get picked on alot. Well...a few weeks ago i had the lovely experience of finding out what several zip ties on ure driveshaft sounds like...for those of you who havent had the privelage of getting in ure car, hitting the excelerator and hearing a sound like ure engine is falling outta ure car...it basically sounds like ure car is going to pieces directly under you...and in my truck where this is highly possible...its quite unnerving. Thankfully i found out by default that the awful sound my truck was making was from zipties b/c they broke off quickly and the guys who put them on couldnt resist asking me if my truck had been making weird noises a few days later when i had failed to mention anything. I told um that it had for a few seconds and then stopped so i didnt worry a/b it...so they explained the wonderful art of ziptying someones car. So...today i get in my truck, get out on Ulmerton and low and behold my truck starts making that horrible, and this time REALLY REALLY loud noise directly under me. Once again i freaked out for a few seconds, then remembered the zip tie incident, and realized the sound my truck was making sounded remarkably like small stips of plastic slapping against metal. So i risk it, drive home, crawl under my truck and there they are....SIX freakin zip ties on my drive shaft. Seriously...can anyone say overkill? SO yeah, i havent decided if i'm amused or annoyed yet. ..i can say i def have better things to do than lay in the dirt under my truck trying to cut zipties off it, but at the same time its kinda amusing.
