Hi! My name is Nora, and I live in LA. I've lived in Southern California my whole life, except for the five years I spent in Virginia getting my degree in media studies. I grew up in Manhattan Beach; I worked for a tiny weekly paper there for two years after school, until I landed my current job almost a year ago.
I work for the Los Angeles Inquisitor. I mean, I know it's not the Times but everyone's got to start somewhere, right? Chasing down gossip items and trying to get a word with or a picture of some random celebrity isn't exactly hard-hitting journalism, but it pays the bills, and more importantly, it's a foot in the door. I'm good at what I do, and I work hard, so I'm confident it's just a matter of time before I catch a break and move up in the world.
"Work hard, play hard" has always been my motto, so when I'm not working I'm probably out at the beach catching a few good waves, or club-hopping here in the city with my roommate. I read a lot, too, when I can shoehorn in an hour or two for it, here and there.
It's not a bad life, overall. And if I just keep plugging away at my work, it'll just get better from here.

She's a reporter toiling away at a slightly sleazy LA-area tabloid while she tries to break into investigative reporting. She's open for RP, and is always looking to land a big interview, sniff out a bit of scandal, or, above all, get her teeth into a good, meaty story. Her writer is also the one behind renegadeinexile.
