Gabriel! What a delight to see you again! But for you, I think I might have perished all those years ago in the Tower.

OOC: Thank you! She had been knocking on my brain and so I decided to give myself (and her!) and early Christmas present by applying to TM. :)

More precisely, I thank you for helping my sister, Mary, on her way. But for you, I think that she would have taken great relish in seperating me from my head.

Your Majesty, it is an honour. I always considered myself fortunate to be born under your reign, and am rejoiced to read your noble words again! Not that I could read them as a girl when I was actually living; reading and writing isn't something you learn on London's streets.

You are a gracious lady to say so, my dear. Might I have the pleasure of your name, so that I may know who it was that was born during my reign?

Wow. Your Majesty, I can certainly say it's an honour. *bows with all the theatrics of an actor* Captain Jack Harkness, at your service.

Well met, Captain Harkness! It is a pleasure to meet you as well. Tell me, do you serve in the Royal Navy?

Not as such, ma'am, but I have served in the British military a fair bit. For Queen and Country and all that. My Captain skills are far more related to the air than to the sea.

"Indeed? You fly through the air, then? Are you a follower of Leonardo DaVinci? I have seen and heard tell of his works through close associates, even though such works are viewed as heresy! How incredible! You simply must tell me more of this!"
