Hi, Liz Elizabeth. Been a while since I seen you. Welcome to this little gathering of the. People. *small smile*

Nice to see you, and a best of holidays to you.

OOC: Great idea for a muse! Welcome.

Gabriel! What a delight to see you again! But for you, I think I might have perished all those years ago in the Tower.

OOC: Thank you! She had been knocking on my brain and so I decided to give myself (and her!) and early Christmas present by applying to TM. :)

*lips twitch* Isn't often people say I helped them not to perish.

Best sort of present. :P

More precisely, I thank you for helping my sister, Mary, on her way. But for you, I think that she would have taken great relish in seperating me from my head.

Ah, like that. *grins* Okay, that one makes more sense. *shrugs* Just the way these things go.

So, you're willing to walk among the people, as it were? I like that. Good experience for a ruler.

It is good experience, and necessary. I see no need to treat those whom we rule as something to be shunned. They are the ones who make the Realm work.

*nods* Can't agree more. I feel similar. I mean, I'm not rulingm per se, but I'm at least in.... management... and some time spent on ground floor is quite an eye-opener.

Management can propose its own challenges, to be sure, Gabriel. The ground floor? Hmmm...that sounds almost as if it might have been a touch unpleasant.

Main challenge being not gettin' too full of yourself, as far as I've seen. *chuckles*

Mmm, it had its ups and downs. Maybe more downs than ups. But the lessons learned made it worth it.

Life is a challenge to be sure, Gabriel. I think that is why I have always maintained that as long as we can walk and talk, or can be real with ourselves, that is more than half the battle.

I am, as I have said, glad to see you here.
